Mr. Trilok Singh Gulhati (1938–2023) was an entrepreneur and the founder of Sonarome, one of India’s leading companies in the flavours and fragrances industry. Born in Mardan during the time of Partition, he began his entrepreneurial journey after establishing a successful professional career.
What started as a modest venture in a Peenya industrial shed grew under his leadership into a six-acre campus equipped with advanced manufacturing facilities, application centres, quality control systems, and research and development laboratories.
Sonarome went on to serve more than 4,000 businesses across India and 45 countries, establishing a strong presence in the global flavours and fragrances market. As the head of Sonarome Private Limited, Mr. Gulhati led a team of more than 150 professionals and played a key role in building the company’s reputation for quality, innovation, and industry expertise. His contribution to the flavours and fragrances sector remains a significant part of his entrepreneurial legacy.
